Jobsite Playlist: From the 90’s

Here@HAYNE we love music!

We listen to it out loud on our SONOS speaker or we listen to our own music in our headsets. Music can get us through a rough day or bring some energy into the office when the coffee isn’t cutting it.

So for this week’s blog post we thought it would be fun to create a jobsite music playlist that would depict the scene for the different parts of the visit. And to make it more fun, we made this a 90’s edition. Check out below to hear what we came up with and take the journey with us!

Jobsite Prep: Waiting for Tonight

This is a great pump up up song, we are waiting for the right time to leave to the jobsite and gathering our things at the office ready for an awesome and productive day!

Drive to Jobsite: Man! I Feel Like A Woman!

Since it’s a H & B jobsite visit we are pumping ourselves up on the drive with a tune that helps fuel our lady-ness in a dude-dominating profession.

Arrival to Jobsite: Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It

We arrive onsite, feeling good and ready to scope out the jobsite. With our supplies in one hand and our hip in the other we are ready to “get jiggy wit it!”

Jobsite Walkthrough: What’s Up?

We are outside in the heat, inside looking around at what progress has been done. We are taking photos, taking notes, whipping out the measuring tape because that totally looks wrong.. saying to each other “what’s going on!”

Jobsite Feeling: Unimpressed/ Indifferent/ Impressed

Torn

It’s Not Right But It’s Okay

Stacy’s Mom

Each of these songs represent the mood felt depending on how the jobsite progress and meeting goes. We struggled finding a “happy” song in the 90’s for our “impressed” feeling but Stacy’s Mom was the right amount of upbeat. Know of any happy 90’s songs? Leave some suggestions in the comments!

Jobsite Exit: Bye Bye Bye

We got our jobsite update and are most likely hungry (probably turning into hangry) so it’s that time to walk away and say “Bye, Bye, Bye… (bye, bye).”

The Drive Back: Survivor

We made it through, we got everything we needed (we hope), and we survived! We are ready to drive back, recharge with lunch and write the field report from the jobsite visit. We are survivors!

We hope you enjoyed going on a jobsite journey with us through 90’s songs. Let us know what your playlist looks like!
