Here@Hayne we like to find new and better ways for everything we do. We normally keynote floor plans, sections and exterior elevations and then use text notes for details and interior elevations.
Recently, in our bathroom remodel project I used keynotes in the interior elevations so that I could tag elements quicker since I had made most of the keynote descriptions in the floor plan.
This brought up the idea of using the keynote description to tag the elements in all the drawings, including the details since there is a same element in different drawings.
We came across the issue of the leader alignment to the center of the text, when we prefer the leader to align to the top. Did we cry and stomp our feet?.. NO! Instead, we made a custom keynote and lucky for you, we are caring and sharing so you can download it and try it for yourself.
There are some pros and cons to each way but, for now, we are in favor of the keynote text tag.
