General Architect on Vacation: Holli in Hawaii Posted by Holli Jackowski on October 6, 2023October 6, 2023 Last week, I took an actual vacation… I know, it’s CRAZY! Although my days were mostly filled with relaxing near a pool or on the sand overlooking the ocean, I just couldn’t stop myself from taking some archi-photos. Obligatory Airplane Photo. Puffs of clouds over the ocean. Lobby ceiling and patchwork rake window at Aulani Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i. Hotel wallpaper. Pattern on Pattern. Object in Landscape. Makapu’u Point Lighthouse trail. Delicate overlapping arches over a standard rectangular building. (My husband tells me that I took the same photo 10 years ago… Well, I like what I like…) Fishscale Facade. Dynamic facade application. A play of sun, shadow, and wind. Construction drawings for a traditional Hawaiian house. Waimea Valley Waterfall Hike. Twisted Tower. A little bit of Vegas in Hawaii. Leonards Bakery Malasadas were delicious! And of course a North Shore ocean view. Now, back to work… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
