Another year has gone by and although we are still getting through this pandemic and whatever other madness this year has brought, we have to keep our head up high and push forward! So with that we want to share a couple of our New Year office goals for 2022!
1. Dabble with VR
We are always looking for new ways to help express our design. Enscape has been great with real time rendering so the next level would be being inside the rendering!
2. Material Library Organization
With the year ending we do our office clean up and clean out which includes going through materials we no longer use, don’t like or don’t have a label of what it is. So now that it is done we need to find a good spot for our material bins!
3. Digital Clean Up
As physical things accumulate in the office you can see them taking up space before it drives you mad and you clean it up. Well the same goes for our digital files, even though I can’t see them I KNOW our files are piling up with things we don’t use or are mislabeled and drawing templates that have irrelevant information! So for this new year I’d love to have a cleaner digital library and updated functional project templates!
4. Photograph Completed Projects
I mean… come on! We are an architecture firm here so that means we do good architecture! We have projects that have been completed and I would LOVE to get them documented for that thing called our website! #keepcurrent
5. Expand Boundaries for Projects
Let’s travel! We primarily do projects in the greater Los Angeles area with a couple projects out in other cities and sometimes states. Let’s keep pushing that boundary and see what other places we can explore and architect on! Los Olivos… wine not!?
