Annotating the elevations on the sheet saves time because you can see your view boundary and page layout. Nothing is worse than completing all of your annotations only to find out you have to completely rearrange the sheet and or reorganize your notes and tags!
We are also using tags (door, window, material, equipment, etc.) along with keynote text to quickly complete the annotations. This method is not only quick, but it also helps with quality control as all of the information referenced is in a single schedule or keynote file (no miscommunication here…). This means less chance of confusion during construction.
